  1. Put the cauliflower florets in a bowl of water by adding some rock salt and Turmeric powder. Keep it for 5 minutes. This will remove if there are any worms in the Cauliflower florets.
  2. After 5 minutes, clean the Cauliflower florets in running water and boil the Cauliflower.
  3. The Cauliflower florets has boiled.
  4. Drain the water from the Cauliflower florets and add in the Red chilli powder, gram flour, Rice flour, Salt.(if necessary sprinkle some water)
  5. Mix everything together well.
  6. In a frying pan, heat enough oil to fry the Cauliflower florets. (The curry leaves is just for a flavor.. adding this in oil is completely optional).
  7. Start frying the Cauliflower florets. Fry till it turns colour and crispy.
  8. Hot and spicy Cauliflower fry is ready to serve.

I do not add sauce or colors to my gobi fry recipe. Crispy cauliflower fries made with rice flour, corn flour and spices. Perfect as snack or as accompaniment for rice. This is a recipe I learnt from my mom in law. She always makes it this way.
